Dan Sauter is a West Point graduate, retired Lockheed Martin Executive and US Army Colonel, and a former defense startup Chief Strategy Officer.  He brings over 35 years of operational and industry experience in Air and Missile Defense leadership to the Curadh Team.   

Dan has led efforts in the U.S., Indo-Pacom, Europe, and the Middle East. He captured and ran a multi-billion dollar program in the Middle East, and led domestic and international THAAD ground and interceptor production (>$1B P&L).  Dan is an innovative strategic thinker, a passionate and tireless leader, and a man of the highest character. 

Dan has been married to Mary (Mancina) Sauter for 33 years. Dan and Mary have four boys (Daniel -USMA '15), Michael (USAFA '17), Matthew (USMA '21), and Jack (Notre Dame '23), three wonderful daughters in-law, and three grandchildren. 

We saw that changing geopolitical and technological environments demanded a drastic shift in the way we acquire, test, develop, produce, and sustain capabilities for the United States and our International partners.
